These are pictures up to and including Betsy's first birthday.
Betsy is now 7 weeks old!
Betsy, 7 weeks old.
Although her mother has had many trials and tribulations (including a C-section incision infection , the resulting return to hospital for 5 days and then 6 weeks plus of wound packing!), Betsy had been growing fast and enjoying life .
She is now 12lb 2oz. and has learnt how to smile, almost roll over and has started to play with some toys.
And of course she is still wearing her parents out!
Betsy is now over 11 weeks old!

The litle munchkin, with the accent on the munch, has been helping Santa out as you can see. She is talking to us now, but we are too dumb to understand what she is saying. She's over 13.5lb in weight and over 24" long. She's off to visit her cousins with us for Xmas and so it should be interesting to see if we alienate the whole aircraft if she discovers she doesnt like flying!.
Three Months Old.

While out in California we had Betsy's 3 Month picture taken, she's wearing
an outfit that she had for Xmas from her Auntie Vicky. At 3 months she was 25.75" long, 17.5 inches around the head and 17.5lbs!
Needless to say she is now on solid foods!
Four Months Old.

We couldn't decide which of Betsy's 4 month pictures we liked so we bought three! Photographers have a habit of catching you tht way! At 4 months she was 26.25 " long and 19lbs. Hope she starts walking soon!

At 6 months Betsy was old enough to go on here first cruise. Many of the waiters in the ship's dinining room had babies back home that they had never seen and so Betsy was the surrogate they used to get baby-hugs. Needless to say she was spoiled rotten by them all!

Well, Betsy is nearing one year old and, although she isnt crawling, she is scooting around on her butt, so we spend a lot of time chasing her! It's exhausting enough doing that, I can't wait until she walks! :-) !

Well the year has flown by. If we had known that kids were this much fun we would have started years ago!
